The total weight of Capricorn no. 2 is 2’314 grams.

Neck

The neck is 3-piece glued from solid Swiss alpine maple with a yew wood reinforcement.
The fretboard and head veneer is made of old Rio Palisander.
The fretboard has a compound radius with 9 inches at the nut, 10 inches at the 5th fret and 11 inches at the 12th fret.
The scale length is 25 – 25.5 inches (635 – 647.7 mm).
The 22 frets of stainless steel feature NC milled and hidden ends.
The cross section design is a C-shape.
The dual action truss rod is a proprietary titanium construction with a stainless steel adjustment screw.
The inlays symbolize a Capricorn with its hoofprints.
The 43.6 mm wide nut is made of bleached and precision milled beef bone.
Strings by default 010 – 046.

Hardware

All the hardware are proprietary designs with a DLC coating (Diamond like Carbon).
The tuners and string clamps are made of stainless steel.
The string rests are made of solid brass and are individually adjustable (intonation and string action).
The string clamps allow a crush-free fixation.

Electronic

Hum-free Kinman Converge 3 pickups on both neck and bridge.
Both pickups switchable as single coil or humbucker.
One volume and tone push/pull potentiometer.
Industry 3-way switch.

Finish

Top with a shellac hand polish.
Body and back with a thin unpolished 2K PUR varnish.
The neck is oiled with sun-bleached linseed oil and terpentine.
